Man
I love to eat cornbread, I eat it about ev'ry day In ev'ry
possible style and in ev'ry possible way I like to eat it
hot and steamy right from the pan I drive around and eat
cornbread in my '96 Nissan Quest mini van

The Daily Copper
2007
Sugar Free Allstars, comprised of Chris Wiser and Rob "Dr. Rock" Martin, has been whipping the living daylights out of the drum and organ shtick for more years than Kelly Clarkson has been aware that the record industry is a dangerous place. For this third outing the duo turns up its soul and funk influences nice and loud, roaring through tracks such as "Cadillac Lady," "Every Drunkard's Got His Day" and "Mighty Mississippi" with the kind of accuracy and flair that makes you pine for the glory days of Naw'lins. Wiser does everything up with his trademark humor-"Jesus Christ Super Center" and "Blame It On The Monkey" are funny because they're funny and because they're true-while Rock delivers the bedrock that this band's reputation is built upon. Although Return doesn't fully capture the wowness of seeing these cats live it comes as close as tape can. Hot gumbo for the southern curious soul.
